Getting Started

Ever feel overwhelmed by all the techniques you learn? Wish you could track your progress beyond just wins and losses? Osss is here! This guide will get you set up to transform your BJJ training.

Create Your Account

  • Once the Osss Jiu Jitsu Journal is downloaded, tap the icon to launch the app. You’ll see a login screen. Tap the “Sign Up” link at the bottom to create your new account.
  • After registration, check your email for a verification code. Enter this code in the app to complete the process and gain access.

The Dashboard

The Dashboard is your Osss command center. Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Quick Stats: Get a snapshot of your recent training sessions, new techniques learned, training rolls logged, and total training time.
  • Activity Feed: See a summary of your recent training activity.
  • Floating “+” Button: Tap the button in the bottom right corner to quickly start a “New Journal Entry,” add a “New Technique,” or (for Premium members) log a “Training Roll.”

3. Navigating the Journal Screen

  • Tap the “Journal” icon in the bottom navigation bar. This is where you’ll find all your saved journal entries, techniques, and training rolls.
  • Filtering: Use the “Tags” feature to organize and easily find specific techniques or training sessions.

The Power of Ongoing Journalling

The more you use The Osss Jiu Jitsu Journal app, the more valuable it becomes. Review your past entries to track your progress, spot patterns, and refine your game plan.
